  • Sometime after the flooding, Noah sends a dove to find land.
  • How long will God allow this violence to spread?
  • Based on genesis 6: 5-8 Genesis 6:5 "The Lord saw that human evil was growing more and more throughout the earth, with every inclination of people’s thoughts[o] becoming only evil on a continuous basis.  
  • Noah, I will soon rid the world of the sin caused by humans. Build an ark to protect yourself, your wife, your sons, and your sons wifes. Bring aboard seven pairs of each pure animal and bring a pair of each impure animal.
  • Genesis 6:9 "...Noah was a righteous man. Blameless during his times,[s] Noah communed[t] with God"
  • Noah, I task you and your family with repopulating the earth. No matter how sinful humans may be, I promise to never destroy the earth again.
  • Noah follows God's commands. Soon, after Noah, his family, and all the animals are on board. God send a massive flood that destroys the earth.
  • Genesis 7: 17 "The flood continued throughout the earth for 40 days, while the flood waters increased, lifting the ark so that it rose above the surface of the[j] earth."
  • Genesis 8:12 He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but it did not return to him anymore.
  • The dove never came back. Soon, land was found.
  • LAND HO!
  • Genesis 8:14 By the twenty-seventh day of the second month, the ground was dry.
  • Genesis 8:21 When the Lord smelled the pleasing aroma, he told himself, “I will never again curse the land because of human beings—even though human inclinations remain evil from youth—nor will I destroy every living being ever again, as I’ve done.
