My third Amendment protects me from having to let you guys in.
This soldier wants the lady to let him in and house him, but the lady refuses. The third Amendment or Quartering Act protects this lady by saying citizens can refuse to let soldiers in.

The police want to take this man's guns but he refuses. This man's Second Amendment rights say that citizens have the right to bear arms. This man is allowed to refuse to give his guns to the police.

You cannot do that! It's against my 8th Amendment right.
this man was arrested for stealing and the judge says that they will chop his hand off so he can't steal anymore. The man refuses because his Eighth Amendment protects him from cruel and unusual punishment like this.
