  • These frames show that King is still scheming against Hamlet because of fear of his actions being caught. Also, the amount of wrongdoing he has done caused him to turn to God.

  • I could end his life, right now. My revenge will end, but he is praying. He is confessing to the murder of my father. Then, he will be send to heaven with my father. There will be a better opportunity for this. I will put my sword away now.
  • Hamlet exits, quietly.
  • My words go to my brother in heaven, however my plans stay here with me. The words will go nowhere, while I am still here. Oh, Father hear my prayer.
  • Hamlet encounters the King praying away his crimes. This makes him angry that a prayer will help King Claudius believe he will move forward in life. However, the anger must be restrained, so there isn't death soon.
