After 20 Years

- You see, instead of this hardware store, there used to be the best restaurant of all time, it was called Big joe Brady's. My best friend Jimmy Wells and I used to come here on the daily.
- Don't worry officer, I'm not here to steal anything. I'm just waiting here to fill an appointment with a chum of mine from 20 years ago.
- Twenty years ago, Jimmy and I parted ways. He wouldn't come out of New York, even if someone forced him to. So, we left in search of our destiny. Before leaving, we made a vow to come to this very place for another meeting for one more meal together at that restaurant.
- It sounds pretty interesting. Rather a long time between meets, though, it seems to me.
- I shall also take my leave after about half an hour. So long, officer.
- It's getting pretty late, sir. I will get going.
- I know Jimmy will meet me here, if he is alive, for he was always the truest, staunchest old chap in the world. I'm sure he will never forget.
