Where are we?
What?! It worked! Thats crazy.. What year are we in?
It seems that we have landed in pre revolutionary france…
We are in the year 1788, right now King Louis has absolute power and gives the people no rights to vote on laws or policies they want
So are the people doing anything about this?
We will get into that now, hop into the Delorean and let’s go back to the future!
To the future they go....
What year are we in now?
What is being done to help resolve the problem? This is called the French revolution right?
Funny, but the nobles of the city are establishing a meeting so that they can all vote and not only vote by order or by class, and so everyone can vote
We are now in the year 1789, where france is currently going through a financial crisis, having the poor extremely poor and in poverty and the rich extremely rich and abusively powerful.
What is this meeting going to accomplish?
This helps further the revolution and lead to democracy because it was the first step toward ending absolute monarchy in France and helped give a voice and voting rights to the commonfolk
It is going to establish the third estate, and the third estate being a body of voters is going to make themselves a national assembly where they will have equal voting rights
