Native Americans and French would often trade furs together
The British wanted part of the fur trade, but the French did not like how they wanted to trade fur with the people they had been trading furs with for years. The British also wanted land from the French, so the two declared war.
Tax the Colonists so we can gain the money back from the war.
When the British were fighting, a lot of the Native American's land were taken by the British. It looked like the French were going to be defeated by the British, but that wasn't proven until the British took over Quebec.
Also tell them they can't build on the land they just fought for.
In the end the French got Sugar Islands from the British, England got Canada and the territory from France, and England got Florida from Spain for giving Spain the Philippines.
The government from mainland England wanted to tax the colonists, since the war costed a lot of money for the resources the colonists used against the French.
The government also wanted to make sure that the people didn't expand on to the land they just fought for, which ultimately caused the Revolutionary War.
