In coming solar radiation (insolation), heats water.
Heated water begins to evaporate and turns into water vapor and begins to rise.
Step 2
Advection (horizontal movement of air and vapor) beings, and move across land.
Step 3
As the water vapor continues to move over land (Advection) it begins to heat and dry out, causing lifting.
Step 4
If there is enough lifting convection will being (strong vertical movement) of the now warm, dry air. As height increase the air cools and begins to condense creating clouds.
Step 5
When enough convection is present clouds will continue to grow and eventually form Cumulus Nimbus.
