Day was looking for plague meds for his family but when he got there the meds were empty. One of the soldier shoots and hits Day right in the arm. That gives Day a flash of pain up his arm but he must continue.
Noo!!
Day is trying to get plague meds. He see's Metias and Day needs to get away so tries to injure him by throwing a knife at his shoulder, not kill him. After jumping off a staircase Day thinks he has broken a rib as he jumped 4 floors.
I didn't kill your brother!
Rising action
Day has cracked a rib and is going to lake sector to find Tess. Day is one block away from Union Station but collapses on the ground. He thinks he see's Tess coming towards him but before he blacks out, he realizes that he doesn't have his pendant anymore
June has found a way to get close to Tess and Day. She has led the Republic to Day's family's house. The Republic (Thomas in specific) killed Day's mother and took his brothers. They arrested Day and will execute him.
June thinks Day killed her brother but he didn't. While Day was in confinement, he told June about how the Republic is creating plagues with matching cures. He also told her about how whoever failed the test gets killed.
That is all I know about this book so far, this book has been very interesting so far and I think it will get even better.
