- O prințesă a lăsat mingea de aur în lac și o broască a ieșit din apă. Broasca i-a spus prințesei că va recupera mingea în schimbul a câteva lucruri: să-l iubească, să-l lase să trăiască în palat, să mănânce din farfuria ei și să doarmă pe patul ei. - The next day at dinnertime, the frog arrived at the palace. The princess didn’t want to let him in, but her father reminded her of the importance of staying true to your word and not backing out on a promise. After dinner, the frog slept on a comfortable pillow on the princess’ bed, and as soon as it was daylight, jumped off and departed.

The prince told the princess that he wished to marry her, and they lived happily ever after.
