Tyler was an only child and he was surrounded by his parents constantly arguing and bickering. All he did was stand by and watch.
His father was very aggressive not only towards his mother but Tyler as well.
Tyler was often very distance from the other kids at school. He preferred to be by himself and was very antisocial.
Tyler's broken family has caused him to be very fearful. He would become highly anxious when Ms. Gomez would talk to him. Ms. Gomez began to noticed this suspicious behavior.
"Is everything okay at home, Tyler?" Ms. Gomez asked. Tyler shook his head and turned away. "Mommy and daddy fight a lot. Daddy mean." Ms. Gomez had to step in and make a change.
Ms. Gomez kept in contact with child-protection services to get Tyler out of that dangerous home. She also has Tyler visit the school counselor to get the help he needs.
