  • The conspirators contemplate letting Cicero join the plot to kill Caesar, but Brutus is skeptical.
  • O, name him not, for he will never follow any thing that other men begin.
  • His silver hairs will purchase us a good opinion.
  • But what of Cicero? Shall we sound him? I think he will stand very strong with us.
  • Cassius urges that they should also kill Mark Antony along with Caesar. Brutus thinks Mark Antony will be powerless without Caesar. They conclude that killing Mark Antony will only hurt their cause, not help it.
  • Our course will seem too bloody.
  • Mark Antony should die with Caesar.
  • The conspirators plan to carry on with their act. They will send Decius to Caesar's house to make sure he goes to the meeting.
  • But it is doubtful whether Caesar will come forth today or no.
  • Never fear that. If he be so resolved, I can O'ersway him. For he loves to hear.
