  • I am Gilgamesh, king of Uruk with divine parentage — a goddess mom & a human king.
  • Although I do not like the idea of facing off against Humbaba, I give my blessing.
  • I am Enkidu, best friend of Gilgamesh

  • Ishtar
  • Should I die too?
  • Gilgamesh was the king of Uruk, a bad king. His subjects were unhappy as he disrespected the gods. Although his goddess mom [Ninsun] did not like the idea of facing off against Humbaba, she gave Gilgamesh her blessing. And he fought with Enkidu.
  • Who dares to cross the threshold and confront us?
  • Scorpion Men
  • After Gilgamesh and Enkidu kills the Bull of Heaven, Enkidu slaps Ishtar in the face! Fuming, Ishtar drains the life of Enkidu, and he gets sicker and sicker. This is possibly because Gilgamesh refused Ishtar's "thing" for Gilgamesh.
  • What is the truth of immortality?
  • I will tell you, but you must stay awake for 6 days, 7 nights.
  • After Enkidu dies, Gilgamesh leaves Uruk to roam the country, wondering "should I die to?o"
  • Snake
  • On another call to adventure, Gilgamesh must cross the threshold again. This time, he must cross the mountains to confront the Scorpion Men.
  • On finding the truth of immortality, Gilgamesh fails fast as he falls asleep instantly, showing his humanity emphasized in his meeting with Utnapishtim.
  • Easy? *Falls asleep instantly*
  • As a final solution (to the truth of immortality), Gilgamesh obtains a secret plant, a root like camel-thorn. However, while he is taking a bath, a snake slithers up, curls around the plant, and disappears.
