Romeo & Juliet - Plot and Structure

Exposition- Two families are feuding. The Capulets and the Montagues.
This scene confesses their love.
Oh, Romeo, Romeo, why do you have to be a Montague? Swear you love me and it doesn't matter that I am a Capulet and you are a Montague.
Oh, speak again, bright angel. Call me your 'love' and I will fight an army and forsake everyone for your love.
Rising Action- Romeo Juliet meet at the Capulet's ball and fall in love.
Climax- Mercutio and Tybalt fight. Tybalt stabs and kills Mercutio. Romeo avenges him by killing Tybalt.
Prince: You are banished, Romeo! Get out of Verona!
Falling Action- Juliet's father has arranged for her to get married to Paris. Juliet goes to Friar Lawrence for a solution, as she is already married to Romeo and they have consummated the marriage (slept together)
Romeo comes back to Verona believing Juliet has died. Paris and Romeo fight and Paris dies.
Resolution- Rome drinks the deadly poison. Juliet kills herself. The families end their feud.
