- At 2:00 am in the morning ponyboy returns after hanging out with Johnny in town. When he arrives home Darry is on the recliner reading a newspaper and soda pop is on the couch sleeping. Darry was very angry at ponyboy and slapped him across the face. Pony ran away to go hang out with johny again.
- When nobody was around Socs came and jumped Johnny. They made him bleed a lot and when the others from the gang found him he almost passed out. When the gang were walking around the town that night they found Johnny's jacket and then found Johnny. The socs had a blue mustang. They used there ring and a knife to cut Johnny and hurt him.
- When some of the gang goes to the drive in movie they meet two girls named Cherry and Marcia. Darry got the girls a drink but cherry didnt appreciate it. The also got some popcorn to eat. There are chairs that they set up so they can sit down and watch the movie while they watch the movie.
