Storyboard Tekst

  • Most people think that a leader is the most important part of a movement. I, however, disagree. I like to think of it with a locomotive analogy.
  • This is a train. It represents the leader of the movement. It's trying to get somewhere. That somewhere would be the goal or objective of the movement.
  • Though it's not getting anywhere. By itself, it is not getting any closer to its goal. To get somewhere it needs momentum. It needs a push. The push represents the first follower.
  • Now it has moved but not quite moving. It could easily be slowed down, so now it needs another push to become an actual moving train. Once the train is a moving train it becomes a movement instead of just a leader.
  • Before long it gets its third and fourth push. After that, the pushes keep coming and the train becomes an unstoppable force that can't and won't stop until it reaches its goal.
  • The train itself is definitely important. Though without pushes it will never get anywhere. This is how I see leaders and followers. Without the help of followers, the leaders would get nowhere.
