What I learned?

This course has taught me a lot about humans and how they interact with each other. I learned about how different culture celebrate holidays, gender roles, social status, traditions and so much more. Anthropology has also taught me that people are very different but also very similar in many ways. We all want to be loved, appreciate and have freedom.

Something important I learned that would help me in the future is to be more aware of other animals because when we observe other animals especially our relatives like the chimps, we can learn about ourselves even more. We are the more evolved species, and we need to use our brains and tools to help other animals as well as the environment too. I also will take will me to tell my story while I still can and make sur to leave evidence of my doings so other in the future can learn from my experiences.

Something I will still remember in 5 years would be that Apes are so much smarter than I thought and they can do amazing things if we take the time to help them. Apes are so much like humans, it amazing to see and the closer we become to them the better this world could be. Koko the Gorilla learning sign language is something that will stick with me forever. She is an incredible animal and we can learn so much from her study.
