- I called Triple A, but it’s going to be an hour before they get out here. I’m looking for someone to give me a ride or loan me a car. . . . I am so sorry. This is incredibly bad timing.
- Why is the traffic getting worse. I need to get to the hospital. I need to check on Bailey. Can this go any faster?
- “Doctor, you must think I’m a terrible mother, not to be here at a time like this. What did you find out? Please tell me—it was just a fluke, right?”
- “Mom."
- Bailey's mom's car broke down.
- Baileys mom got stuck in traffic.
- Bailey’s mother rushes into the room just then, apologizing right and left.
