I was an igneous rock, I formed when molten rock rose to the surface under pressure, and was cooled up. Then weathering happened sending bits of rocks down the mountain.  This roc us eroded by the river and sent to the sea.
When the erosion and weathering happened I turned into small rocks like pebbles or sand and mud, we are called sediments. We sink to the sea bed and are deposited as sediment into the river then the sea.
Now I have to turn into sedimentary rocks. So need to go through compression. When layers of sediment build up, they compress into sedimentary rocks.
Weathering and Erosion
Now I am going to turn into a metamorphic rock. To do this I have to go deep underground, when I go deep underground I will go through a lot of heat and pressure, hence converting into a metamorphic rock.
Transportation and deposition
This is magma, when the rock close to magma heats up it becomes molten rocks, when the molten rock rises to the surface due to heat and pressure it forms IGNEOUS ROCKS. Hence showing how this process repeats like a cycle.
Sedimentation
This shows us that the stages of the rock cycle are that first there are igneous rocks, then those turn into sedimentary rock, and lastly those turn into metamorphic rocks. Then this process repeats.
