- At the beginning of Act 3, Giles Corey and Francis Nurse burst into the courtroom to argue the release of their wives. They say they have proof that claims are false.
- John and Mary Warren enter the courtroom with proof that the girls are lying. Proctor says that Abigail admitted to him that there wasn't witchcraft involved. Mary Warren says that the other girls acted like they were affected.
- Giles Corey tells Judge Danforth that he has a witness who has proof that Putnam had his daughter cry witchcraft against George Jacobs in order to obtain land. When asked to show proof, Giles didn't show and got arrested.
- Proctor Admits to the court that he committed lechery with Abigail. Prove the Claim, Danforth makes Elizabeth testify if the claims are true or not. She says her husband didn't commit adultery and saves him.
- The girls are brought into the court. Danforth asked Abigail if the accusations were fake, Abigail says Mary Warren was lying. They see a yellow bird, and all the girls began to scream.
- Mary Warren becomes Scared, and she screams as well. Mary runs to Abigail and asks for forgiveness. Mary claims that John is the devil and says he would kill her if he didn't testify against Abigail. John is arrested and Reverend Hale rejects Court Proceedings.
