- Fire?
- No one knows really knows what happened. Some say Captain Preston said not to fire at the colonists. However, one of the soldiers thought he said "Fire!'' and shot into the crowd!
- The other soldiers panicked and fired along with him.
- Later after the shooting.......
- Sadly, 5 people were found dead and 6 were hurt.
- A name that towns people called the British soldiers was '' lobesterback '' because of their red coats.
- Silversmith Paul Revere made an etching (of the Boston Massacre on a piece of metal) of a peaceful crowed being shot at by British soldiers, even tho that's what didn't happen.
- The British captain's name was Captain Thomas Preston
