Storyboard Tekst
In the 1700's, when the U.S. first gained it's independence, the main mode of transportation was still horse-drawn carriages.
Ughh these horses are so slow.
AHOY FELLOW AMERICAN!
The only mode of sea travel during this founding era was wooden sailboats.
Out of nowhere, the English created the steam engine and industrialized! The U.S. followed suit, and soon enough, trains spanned the continent.
The steam engine was also used to create steamboats at this time. This led to the gas and nuclear powered boats we have today.

Once the combustion engine was invented, cars became the main mode of transportation in the U.S.A..
This new technology also allowed for the creation of the first practical modes of air travel, planes and rockets!
