- After realizing that Charles really did not exist and it was Laurie all along his mother was upset. She apologized for her sons behavior and hurried to finish the conference.
- When Laurie's mother got home Laurie was sitting down watching television. Laurie called to his father first, talked to him for half-an-hour and then called to Laurie.
- Laurie's mother talked to him about his mistakes until Laurie understood what he did wrong. After that teacher conference Laurie seemed to behave much better. The way he acted at school was angelic, his teacher couldn't find a thing he did wrong.
