The Rainbow Serpent
Storyboard Tekst
- A long long time ago our earth had no plants or trees or animals there were only people. The only colour was the sky and when it rained there was a beautiful rainbow and the people were so happy they would start singing and dancing.
- The Rainbow Serpent
- The Rainbow Wanted to join in the fun so it came down out of the sky and everywhere in slithered it formed mountains and rocks. '' I am the rainbow serpent I am your king''it said. The people were scared. But they heard it's words and grew used to it.
- One rainy night two boys went into the serpent's mouth thinking it was a cave. The serpent was dreaming of food so it closed it's mouth and swallowed the two boys whole.
- The people noticed the boys diserperance and relised the rainbow serpent was part of it. The people were outraged and stared hunting for the rainbow serpent. They found him in a deep slumber. The people cut open the side of the serpents body and instead of two boys they found two bueatiful birds.
- The rainbow serpent woke up and could feel the pain it was outraged. "How dare you?" it said "I did not mean to eat those boys but know I will eat you!" The people tried to make to make it very hard for the rainbow serpent to catch them. Some jumped into the air, they turned into kangaroos others hid under rocks, they became Tortoises some climbed into trees, they became Koalas some threw themselves into the air, they became birds others jumped into water, they became platypuses and other stayed still, and the became trees.
- The rainbow serpent tried to catch the people but it could not. It slowly went away hissing. The next day their was no sign of the rainbow serpent. But the rainbow was in the sky again. The rainbow serpent looked down on what it had created it had created valleyes and mountain and the rainbow serpent was glad.
