- I will go in and kill the people then the mongoose will leave
- I will wait here until the big man comes to bath.
- Rikki Tikki Tavi was swept away from his burrow in a flood. When he revived up he was lying on the ground in Teddy's front yard.
- Climax
- Don't move Teddy!
- Rikki Tikki meets Darzee the tailorbird and his wife. Nag has eaten one of Darzee's chicks. Nagaina tries to kill Rikki but Darzee wants him just in time.
- Climax
- He will surely die down there
- Rikki Tikki Tavi over hears Nag and Nagaina's plan. Nag waits coiled around the water jug but Rikki pounced on him after a fight Nag dies.
- Falling Action
- He saved our lives!
- Nagaina was about to kill Teddy but just before she did Rikki can in with her last egg. He had smashed the rest.  Nagaina after a small fight got her egg back and ran.
- Rikki chased Nagiana to her hole he bite Nadaina's tail just as she went down and he was Dragged down too. Just as Darzee was singing his death song Rikki cam out alive Nagaina was dead!
- Teddy's parents thank Rikki Tikki Tavi for saving there lives. That night Rikky went to sleep under Teddy'd chin. Rikki kept the garden lick a mongoose should. Completely free of snakes.
