- Stranger: looking at them "Looks like you two are in trouble."
- Georg: softly "You think we can stop? After everything?"
- Ulrich: looking at him "Maybe it's time to tryTomorrow, we go back. We end this."
- Not yet, you’re still stuck under that tree. It's not about you two. It's about life. You were about to die over something that doesn't matter. It's time to stop.
- Georg: grumbling "The point? You ask me that now? A good time to die is because of a stupid tree, and for what? This piece of land? This family name? My family lost everything because of yours, Ulrich. They died for this stupid land. Now you want me to forget?
- Stranger: scanning the wolves "Doesn't r V er. Wolves are close. I'll take care of them."The stranger raises his rifle and shoots twice. The wolves run off.

- Ulrich: quietly "He's right. We've been fighting for nothing."
- Why’d you do it?
- Ulrich: groaning, trying to move "I guess this is it, Georg. We're stuck here, under this tree. It's cold, and the wolves are coming. After everything we've been through-our families, the land-it feels like anone of it matters anymore. What was the point of all this?"

- Georg: shaking his head "I don't know if I can let go, Ulrich. My family died for this. They didn't get to choose. They fought because they thought it was right. And now you want me to stop? After all of it?"
- Ulrich: softly "I'm not saying forget, Georg. I'm just saying, what's left? We're both here, stuck and dying. The land doesn't matter anymore. It's,st us and this tree. And wolves. What's the point of holding on to hate?
- Dia: 0
- Ulrich: groaning, trying to move "I guess this is it, Georg. We're stuck here, under this tree. It's cold, and the wolves are coming. After everything we've been through-our families, the land-it feels like anone of it matters anymore. What was the point of all this?"
