- FINALLY! On this dreary night, I shall finally accomplish my goal! (5)

- The monster comes to life and scares Victor
- THE HORROR! I picked near-perfect body parts; why is the creature so hideous??? (5)

- Victor runs away in fear to his bedroom, where he falls asleep and dreams
- I am exhausted; all of my efforts have resulted in something I never could have expected. Let me rest now. (5)

- In his dreams, Victor meets Elizabeth and greets her with a kiss

- However, her body begins to rot into Victor's deceased mother
- How has my beloved Elizebeth turned into the corpse of my mother!!?? (5)

- Waking up to the moonlight in his eyes, he finds the beast peering through his curtains in his room

- Henry draws Victor to peace, tells him that his cousin has contacted him.
