- Did you know that every 30 seconds about 18 football field of forests disappears? We need tree's in our lives because of their resources and the needs they can fulfill. in our daily lives .We also need to think about our future generations thought? If we keep cutting down trees for our needs and don't give forests time to re-grow, that would cause a lot of damage to the environment and ecosystems and can also ruin the animal habitats.
- Forests are being cut down to produce lumber or paper and cardboard or wooden furniture, but if we stop cutting down trees jobs will be in danger and our needs will not be fulfilled, but clear-cutting forests will expose soil to erosion and natural waterways will be destroyed. Deforestation causes soil erosion, flooding, contributes to climate change and results in loss of animal habitat.
- Deforestation affects many people like the ones who depend on forests for shelter and food or the animals that live there. It also affects farmers who live close to forest since soil becomes degraded dure to erosion even so that in some lands soil ahs become so degraded that it is now the land can no longer produce more.
- By the rate we are cutting trees and clearing forests, most likely very soon the forest could stop growing because of degraded soil and some old forests like rainforests have old trees which would take hundred if not thousands of years to grow again, after that would come the loss of jobs because of no more forests to cut or not enough resources or needs being fulfilled, we need to do everything with caution and also think about our upcoming generation and how our clear-cutting could affect#160;their lives.
- What can we do to help our environment and our community, well plant more trees first, spread the message and take action to stop cutting down so many trees, we can also do the 3 Rs which are Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. We can also try to use recycled paper so not many trees will have to be cut down and you could also refuse deliveries of flyers and magazine or any catalogs and read newspapers online and also .reusing gift bags instead of paper wrapping.I hope you will take a step to help our ecosystems and environments and also the future of generations.
