- Hey Doc, my dog smells like fish. Can you help us?
- Hi, Sally. It appears that Astro's anal glands are impacted.

- My assistant will take Astro to the treatment area for expression. Once Astro is all cleaned up, he'll be returned.
- That would be great thanks!
- Can I also have a bag of his prescription diet?
- I'll have Astro all cleaned up and ready to go in no time! and have that food for you in a jiffy!

- I can do this with my eyes closed! I'll have Astro out of here in less than 10 minuets.
- Please be sure to clean the patient up really well after you have expressed both glands. We don't want to send him home smelly.
- Sure thing, Doc! I'll have Astro finished and back with his mom in no time!

- Well if you insist. Everyone needs help sometimes...it's okay to let someone help you take a load off. Oh well.

- Yikes!! I completely forgot to clean Astro after his anal gland expression! I should've allowed Joey to help me complete the task, while I started the other one.
- Excuse me, why does my dog still smell? I thought you guys solved the problem?
- My apologies, Sally! I was rushing to get the food; I forgot to clean Astro thoroughly after his expression.
- I assure you everything is just fine, Sally. Shayla, did you remember to clean Astro before bringing him back to the exam room?

- You know Shayla, Joey mentioned to me that you're a great asset to the team, however sometimes you would rather struggle to complete a task alone than to ask for help. It's okay being independent but it's even better having a team to help out when the going gets tough. Never shy away from asking for help, we are all here for the same purpose
- Thanks for the advice Dr. Matt! Sometimes I have a hard time asking for help even when I really need it. I will be sure to utilize my team moving forward to ensure the best care possible for our patients!
