1/2???what's that Nicholas, can't we make it 3/4???
oh silly jack!its called a FRACTION
Dia: 2
The field can be used by two teams or four teams by making the field 1/2
1/2 or in other words meaning half. A fraction is a part of a whole. like you said 3/4 is 3 parts out of 4 meaning 3 teams using one pitch

oh! I get it know, but does that mean you can multiply fraction and divide them too??
like it says on the Billboard. it is an example of dividing the field by the white line if 4 teams are there separating the halves for various games
Dia: 3
Thank you so much Nicholas for teaching me about dividing and multiplying fractions in real-life cases and in examples
of course you can,ex:-4/6 x3/6 here you can multiply the denominator and the numerator separately and get 4x3 and 6x6 =12/36when simplified you will get 1/3
However in division you should reciprocal(flip) the second term and multiply.ex:- 2/3 divided by 1/3=2/3 x 3/1=2x3 and 3x1=6/3simplifying/ dividing it again by 3 = 2/1 or 2
you're welcome Jack!!!
Let me take notes before I forget!!!
