  • Unfair Taxes
  • With no food and no money, my family and I live on the streets like poor bums!
  • No Equality
  • You should be ashamed of yourself!
  • Enlightenment Ideas
  • The queen has the audacity to eat all this bread while she leaves us to starve!
  • The third estate shouldn't be living like this!
  • The taxes imposed on the 1st - 3rd estate were so harsh, that half of their taxes weren't even paid for. Bread, a main staple of the French diet, was rare. Flour was hard to come by due to crop failure, and the cost of living was hard. But the monarchy kept spending nonetheless
  • Poor leadership
  • I do not care about your concerns about these silly politics, does it look like I'm a ruler?
  • With the gap between the rich and the poor being so great, there was no social equality between them, resulting in the rich battering down the poor.
  • Reign of Terror!
  • VIVA LA REVOLUTION!!!!!
  • With the queen and the king eating and living oh so lavishly, the people of France started to question whether they should be treated like this and debated whether they needed to demand more political power or not.
  • More Revolutions
  • If you aren't with us, you are against us! Off with his head!
  • Louis was indecisive, not being able to make, and hated to make and deal with professional political decisions, and paid little attention to his advisors, who, unlike him, knew what they were doing. When a large debt arose in the country, he just ended up taxing the 2nd estate even heavier.
  • Many people were outraged at the king and queen and how they didn't believe that the people of France deserved a fair share of food. So they took to the streets and led a great revolution that has left a mark on French history to date.
  • With Napoleon Bonaparte rising to power, and the heads of the king and queen missing from their original bodies, the revolutions just kept getting worse. The vast majority of the "Enemies" of the protests were just people who were either against their ideas, were the family of the king and queen, or didn't strictly believe in the ideas and beliefs that they had. In the end, they had murdered more people than need be.
