- When fractions have the same denominator, adding fractions is easy! Just add the numerators.
- When the denominators are different, it is much trickier!
- We just have to rename the fractions before we can do anything with them! You shall become re-name-inators!
- Once you rename the fractions so they all have the same denominators, adding and subtracting fractions is easy again.
