- What is an attribute?
- Today class we are going to learn about the attributes of 2D shapes!
- Sides
- The attributes are the sides and vertices of a shape. Remember vertices are the points where sides meet.
- Vertices
- But a circle doesn't have any sides!
- You will count how many sides and vertices each shape has.
- Triangle
- Circle
- Square
- Rectangle
- That is correct a circle doesn't have any sides. Let's look at the circle.
- Circle
- A circle doesn't have any sides or vertices so it has 0 sides and 0 vertices.

- Square
- Our next shape is a square. It has 4 sides and 4 vertices.
