When Lencho was thinking all night, hoping for better so he thinks of God.
" All through the night, Lencho thought only of his one hope: The help from God."

The four events along with the textual evidence that I listed support my theme:Have hope when things go wrong, because through it all, he still had hope. He hoped for the help from God, then when he got upset he was determined to get his idea across, hoping for future financial support to help his family.

When the post man wants to have confident hope like Lencho.
"To believe the way he believes. To hope with the confidence that he knows how to hope with."

Lencho gets money in the mail, but not all and he knows that God doesn't make a mistake.
" ....God could not have made a mistake, nor could he have denied Lencho what he had requested!"
