lets start with a stock and a ticker symbol a stock is persentage of ownership of a company going up or down baste on how sales are doing and has a max amount you can buy baste of how much shares the company gives out.A ticker symbol is a 1-5 letter sighs that are easy to lick up companies so you can look at the stock prices and how there doing.

that last stuff you need to know is diversify and capital preservation. Diversify means to spread your stock out so you don't put all your money in 1 stock and so you dont lose them all on 1. Capital preservation it means to keep your original investment is like buying something and fixing it for little and sell it for a lot more than you bought it for.
