- Oh, hey Rob! Just didn"t want to come to work today. I'm so sick to my stomach and exhaused. We have been working short for the past 3 days!
- I need to tell megan I need a STAT CBC, BMP, and PTT on a patient receiving a heparin drip
- I apologize Dr. Cohan, it's just that we are so short on staff. I have 9 patients tonight so I'am a little backed up but I will get right on it.
- Why haven't you transfused the patient in room 532-1? why haven't you put the catheter in the patient in room 512 having urinary retention?
- Excuse me! I'am reporting you, I have been waiting over an hour for assistance
- I'm so close to a nervous breakdown, I don't know what to do. I'm being screamed at from everyone! Maybe nursing isn't for me.
- Megan! my patient is very upset! She claims she has been ringing the bell but no one has come to help her.
- I haven't taken a break, I have 8 patients, an admission coming, and I haven't started my chart work yet
- I'm sorry guys, I know we have been short lately and it has been rough. Lets go into the office and brainstorm. Let's see about ways we can improve our situation
- I can't do this anymore! I have 9 patients, I haven't taken a break, or use the bathroom. Also, I'm getting yelled at by everyone

The main purpose is to help decrease the workload, improve safety, enhance teamwork and improve quality outcome. Rob: It was a great idea! Glad we were able to provide our input as well.
