The monkey went to the barber to get the thorn out of his tail.

The Barber had accidently cut the monkeys tail off. The monkey took the razor from the barber as repayment. The monkey left the barber.
Everything okay cake maker?
Use my firewood. It have plenty!
My firewood is all out and I have more cakes to bake.
The monkey later on approached a woodcutter with a blunt axe. He gave his razor to her, fully knowing that it would break the razor.
I am going to take all of your cakes!
I'm so sorry, I did not mean to use all of your firewood.
You can take all of my cakes. I feel terrible.
When the woodcutter used the razor to cut the wood it snapped in half. The monkey took the firewood and left the woodcutter.
The monkey then came across a cake maker who was out of food for her fire. The monkey offered his wood to her.
The cake maker used up all the fire wood. The monkey guilt tripped the cake maker into giving him the cakes just like everyone else.
