How are your college applications coming along? Deadlines are coming up really soon.
I'm going to work on them soon; I was accepted into the NJSTARS program, but I don't want to start at a community college, or stay in New Jersey. I'm applying to UW-Madison where my dad attended and Delaware where my cousin is now.

Mom! Dad! I got accepted to both Delaware and UW, but UW wants me to start at a branch campus for the first two years--I don't want to do that, so I'm going to commit to Delaware.
That's great, Brent! We'll need to talk about student loans. We're not able to pay for this on our own like we had planned...

I applied to UW-Madison as a vocal performance major, but never went to audition--likely a contributing factor to my admission decision.
