One of his eyes reminds me of a vulture. It fills me with rage and makes my sense acute. I should get rid of him.
But yet I refrained and kept still. I tried how steadily I could maintain the ray upon the eye.
There was nothing to wash the out-no stain of any kind- no blood-spot whatever. I had been too wary for that.
The author has the motion to kill the old man due to the eye that makes the narrator feel rage. He then makes a plan.
There entered three men who introduced themselves, with perfect suavity, as the officers of the police.
The narrator watches the old man at night looking for the chance to take his eye. One night he hears the old mans heart beating.
Anything was more tolerable than this derision! Villians! dissemble no more! I admit the deed
The narrator kills the old man and chops his body up into pieces. He then hides his body in the floor.
The officers come by the house after being informed by the neighbors. They serchednthe house while the author sits there. But inside the author is losing it inside.
The author being filled with anxiety and fear has a breakdown. He goes insane and confesses his crimes. He shows where he hides the body. And tells the story.
