The weather was extremely harsh and because of this unfortunate event, it led to poor harvests and bread becoming scarce. All we had was a little bit of bread that we were only able to cut with saws. When we used the saws it covered 50% of bread. Us common folk are deciding to revolt against the Royal Family.

On July 14th, 1789, The people of Paris seized the Bastille which was an armory and prison for those who the king imprisoned due to whim. In the countryside, the peasants took over Chateaux and destroyed aristocratic titles to land and peasant services.

On October 5th, an event took place called the Women's march. Their intentions were to took the King and the rest of his Royal Family to Paris. The walk was about 5 hours long and 12 miles far from Paris to Versailles. They wanted to take the Royal Family to speak on the behalf of the families who lost their children due to the famine and starvation the they experienced. The Family wasn't harmed but the mob did kill the friends and coworkers of the family and would cut off their heads and hang it on spears.
