- I think Father should think twice about his job, right?
- This house only has three stories! The house in Berlin had five!
- Hi, my name is Bruno.
- Bruno is upset that he has to move somewhere else just because of his father’s job.
- Papa’s been gone for a while and he still hasn’t come back.
- Bruno is even more upset that his new house is nothing like his house in Berlin.
- While Bruno is exploring “Out-With” he meets a boy named Shmuel, who lives on the other side of the fence.
- One day while Bruno and Shmuel are talking, they decide to go into the concentration camp to look for Shmuel’s missing father.
- Bruno and Shmuel search for an hour and a half and fail to find evidence on where Shmuel’s father has gone.
- Unfortunately, a group of soldiers gather a bunch of Jews (including Bruno and Shmuel) to go into a gas chamber. Both boys are scared and don’t know what’s going on. In the end, they don’t make it out.
