Snowball thinks up an idea of constructing a windmill, so the farm animals can work less. He goes to propose the idea to everyone else, but Napoleon despises the idea.
Snowball is attacked by nine large canines with military collars who enter the barn. Snowball is chased off the Animal Farm and never seen again. Petrified are the other creatures. They recognize these nine pups as the puppies Napoleon kidnapped from their mother to educate privately.
