- Through Many Naval attacks, the Japenese completely took out the russian navy and defeated them in a war over disputed Korean land.
- Women and even some soldiers had trouble finding food that was not at extreme prices. Along with food, they had trouble getting kerosene, textiles, and footwear.
- Russian gaurds shot upon over hundreds of protesting workers at Czar's palace. This resulted in the wounding and killing of a few hundred people.
