- The National Association of Sewer Service Companies―better known as NASSCO (“Nass-Ko”)―has been setting standards for the assessment and rehabilitation of underground infrastructure since 1976.
- NASSCO members include municipalities … contractors … engineers … and equipment manufacturers. In other words, anyone who cares about keeping underground sewer systems healthy. (Images fade in and stay in frame)
- NASSCO members come together and work hard to set standards for technologies like CCTV inspection, pipeline cleaning, grouting, pipe bursting and CIPP.
- They also work hard building business relationships with other NASSCO members.
- But perhaps the most important thing NASSCO does is provide training for professionals throughout North America who are involved in the repair and inspection of underground infrastructure.
- Operators are trained in NASSCO’s Pipeline Assessment Certification Program, or P.A.C.P.
- They learn to properly identify conditions and defects, while gaining the skills to properly code data. This results in consistent data collection and usage universally.

- Consulting engineers and contractors are trained in the Inspector Training Certification Program, or I.T.C.P.

- Through this Program they gain the tools necessary to better understand and inspect trenchless infrastructure renewal technologies such as CIPP, manhole rehabilitation and pipe bursting.
