- Margot who is now nine years old, has lived on Venus her whole life. It always rains here, and never stops.
- Venus
- Later in class, the children had to write a poem about the sun. Margot stood up to read her poem.
- I think the sun is a flower, that blooms for just one hour.
- Word of the day:Sun
- The scientists predicted this day to be the one day, one hour that the sun will finally come out
- Speak when you’re spoken to.
- But for Margot this was the one day, one hour, she could feel joy she had not felt since she was 4.
- What are you looking at?
- William did not believe Margot when she spoke about the sun. William and the other boys seized her roughly, placing her in the closet before the teacher returned.
- William
- ''Your lying, you don't remember!''
- Around 5 minutes later... the sun came out and the kids started playing
- No one even mentioned Margot
- stop for another 7 years
- The rain started again, and will not
- Hesitantly, they let margot out of the closet.
