Recipe by Giada De Laurentiis (serves 6-8) Ingredients: 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 stalks celery sliced, 1 carrot sliced, 1 onion chopped, 1 14.5 oz can chopped tomatoes, 1 14 oz can chicken broth, 1/2 c basil leaves, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 1 bay leaf, 1/2 tsp dried thyme, 2 chicken breasts with ribs (about 1.5 lbs), 1 14 oz can organic kidney beans drained
Storyboard Tekst
- SAUTE celery, carrot and onion for 5 minutes SEASON with salt and pepper
- STIR in tomatoes, chicken broth, basil, tomato paste, bay leaf and thyme ADD chicken and submerge
- BRING to a boil REDUCE heat to medium-low and cook for 25 minutes
- REMOVE chicken DISCARD bay leaf
- ADD kidney beans and simmer for 10 minutes
- SHRED chicken and return to stew SERVE and enjoy
