- After Jims Christmas bonus was canceled he had an idea how to get the money for Dellas present
- We buy ; )
- As Della stared out the window, she saw a sign that gave her a way to gain money for Jims present
- Gathering all her courage Della cut and sold her hair, gaining 20 dollars towards Jims present. A golden watch chain.
- Barber shop
- Jim walked through the door in shock. Della then explained why she got her hair cut. Jim apologized then said she'd understand his shock once she opened her present.
- My gift is useless now. What should I do?
- You still love me don't you Jim?
- Jim bought her silver hair clips. But it cost him his watch. Della bought Jim a beautiful watch chain but it cost her her hair. Yet that is the gift of the magi sacrificing the most valuable thing for love.
