- Paris: Juliet, on Thursday early will I rouse you. Till then, adieu... (43-44)
- Juliet meets Paris briefly at Friar Lawrence's cell and treats him indifferently before seeking FL's advice to stop her impending marriage to Paris. His solution includes Juliet taking a potion to fake her death so she can, afterwards, run away to Mantua with Romeo.
