- It's now a month before Graduation. Baseball season has ended. After a long day of school, my dad comes to my bedroom to have a conversation about my future
- Earn... Can we talk?
- Sure dad wassup?

- Please don't tell me its about this again

- Yes Earn, It's not just my plan. It's about your future. About security. Something I didn't always have
- And you really think the only way is to do what you do? What makes you happy?

- Nothing? Dad, I have offers. It's not nothing to me. It's what I love
- Baseball is to uncertain. One injury, one bad season and then what? You're left with nothing

- But what's the point of having a roof under my head if im miserable under it? Spending my life doing something I hate just because you think its safe
- Love doesn't pay the bills Earn. Passion does not put a roof above your head

- And i appreciate that. But that does not mean I want the same thing
- I don't hate my work. It's honest. Provides for my family

- I actually have a chance. Coaches want me. They believe in me
- Im trying to understand Earn. But it's hard for me to see this

- Please Dad. You did something you wanted to do on your own. Now it is time for me to do the same

- You know what Son. Although throughout these years I just wanted you to follow my footsteps. I have come to the conclusion that you are a growing man. I'm very sorry. to You're right. you have dreams and goals that you want to achieve yourself. Just know that I love you and will always support you every step of the way.
