- The stamp act was so the Americans could help pay the debt for the war. King George decided to put taxes on paper so they could make the money back.
- I hate the stamps i have been writing letters to the government to get rid of them.
- Why do these people need to live in my house?
- Americans were forced to take soldiers and house them and provide them with food. This angered the colonists and they felt it was a privacy issue.

- Instead of taxing paper king george decided to tax on imported goods instead. The colonists soon caught on and started boycotting and stealing the goods. Eventually they removed the taxes.

- The Boston massacre was when the conflict turned violent. When a mob of colonists threw rocks and snow at the soldiers. In response the soldiers fired there weapons. This ended in a few deaths.
- WE WANT JUSTICE!!

- The boston tea party was when the major tea company in the colonies minimized the price of tea but still had tax on it. This angered the colonists again. They first boycotted but then got on the ships of the tea company and dumped 90,000 pounds of it off the ships.
- Stop trying to tax us. We have gone through enough.
