Have you read any stories or poems that discuss current social issues? If yes, which one, and what did you learn?
Which platform do you think is the best for discovering new literature today?
I do think that YouTube storytelling can be a powerful tool for helping people discover new literature. YouTube is a widely accessible platform. YouTube storytelling adds a visual dimension with animated videos, character illustrations, scene recreations, or even real-life footage related to the book’s themes or setting. Voiceovers, sound effects, and music can greatly enhance the storytelling experience.

I’ve read the book, “La la land” by Ayad Akhtar and Matthew Decker. They’ve also made a movie about it that was phenomenal. I’ve loved both the book and how the film has brought the story into life.
Personally, I prefer E-books. They are super lightweight and portable, I can fit hundreds or even thousands of e-books on a device that barely weighs anything.
One of the most empowering novels that have been an eye-opener for most Filipinos, including me, was El Filibusterismo written by the Philippines’ National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.
